About The Trail
Area BFE is a premier UTV destination in Moab, Utah, featuring miles of slickrock trails with technical ledges, steep climbs, and rock fins that will test your machine's suspension and your driving skills. Located just south of town off Highway 191, the trail system offers routes ranging from moderate to extreme, making it a must-ride for side-by-side enthusiasts looking for a true Moab rock-crawling experience.





Trail Requirements
Trail consists of rock, sand and considerable slickrock with many steps exceeding 30″. Steep inclines and declines are prevalent. Enhanced off road equipment is required including machine minimum 64″ wide, tall tires (35″+ required), onboard spare tire and axles, winch, maximized vehicle ground clearance and suspension travel. Roll over and vehicle damage likely.

Directions To Meet Your Guide
From Moab City Center, head south on Main Street (HWY 191) for 13 miles. Turn left onto BLM 173. Continue straight for 1 mile and then take a slight left into the Area BFE / Strike Ravine parking lot. The trailhead will be on the left at coordinates 38.403603, -109.408220.
Parking
This trailhead is 13 miles south of Moab. There is ample parking at the Area BFE lot located at coordinates 38.403603, -109.408220. Please park next to the trailers that are already there and do not leave large spaces between trailers. Attendees are strongly encouraged to trailer to the parking lot.

Every ride is led by an experienced guide who knows the rock. Registration opens Black Friday, and guided ride spots are limited and go fast.
