The Ride

About The Trail

An excellent ride with technical rock climbing, beautiful arches, and dune riding any rider will love. This is an excellent day ride that can be taken at a pace you and your family prefer. One of the greatest aspects about this trail is riding on top of Moab cliffs where the overlooks can make the most novice onlookers feel the breadth of Moab.

Road surfaces are rutted, rocky and sandy with steps not exceeding 14″, with considerable slickrock surfaces. Water not exceeding 12″ with some mud possible. Good vehicle approach and departure angles are helpful. Tall tires (30″ plus) recommended.

Directions To Meet Your Guide

Head north on Main Street (HWY 191), out of town, over the bridge, and take a left on Potash Rd (279), before the stoplight at Arches National Park. Head west approximately 6 miles, the turnoff to the trailhead will be the first right turn at coordinates 38.53340, -109.60755.

Parking

There is parking at the trailhead and along the road leading up to the trailhead. Larger trailers will be difficult to park in the actual lot. Recommend large trailers arrive early. Be careful not to block the road, parking lot entrance or rock climbing areas.
